The Administrative Assistant manages and ensures the smooth day to day operations for the President of Rampart America, LLC a premier Insurance Brokerage . This position reports directly to the CEO and supports the entire life insurance operation. The incumbent will manage communications, be independent, is dependable, has the ability to build relationships and deal with customers in a confident manner. Perform data entry into the agency management system; manage office correspondence, filings, and all office systems. Must have a high level of PC proficiency with the Microsoft Suite, SalesForce, as well as, the agency management system, AL. Will support business development activities, including, but not limited to, assembling marketing materials, appointments, and putting together schedules of insurance. Proof and edit written materials. Manage many producers (sales people) inquiries and requests. Make all business travel arrangements and schedule meetings. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and standardize efforts to fluctuating work flow demands from a number of internal and external constituencies.
Previous experience in customer service. Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university is preferred. Experience in a life insurance brokerage, is preferred. High level of proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SalesForce. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to multi-task and manage numerous projects simultaneously and effectively. Good listener with ability to determine best method, work sequence, and scheduling, in order to achieve objectives in a fast-paced work environment.
Candidate must have a positive optimistic personality. A good comfort with multitasking, details and time management, as well as a desire to learn new tasks after demonstrating a core level of competency with all essential responsibilities and duties. Life and Health Insurance Broker’s License, preferred.
Large Lines Marketing Representative
Working with our producers, marketing and account teams to strategize, develop, and market new and renewal business; as well as, prepare and submit submissions to the marketplace to obtain new business.Rampart Brokerage Corp., a privately owned P&C Insurance Brokerage, is seeking talent for its Commercial Lines Large Lines Department. The Commercial Lines Large Lines Marketing Representative, reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, will be responsible for the essential functions listed below.
10+ years in the retail insurance brokerage industry in a marketing manager capacity with a deep knowledge of the marketplace. Adept at preparing and presenting submissions to the marketplace; analyzing risk and negotiating terms and rates. Ability to learn new concepts quickly and apply to work. Strong carrier product knowledge. Excellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills. Expertise in researching, analyzing and applying competitive intelligence with the ability to create and manage marketing programs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with advanced-level writing capabilities. Proficient with Microsoft Suite applications. Bachelor’s Degree. NY Property and Casualty License. Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Excel and Word.
15% travel is expected for this position. CPCU/CIC is preferred. Knowledge of Sagitta/ImageRight is preferred. Candidates must be computer and systems literate.
